Adolph Engel Oracle Cards, c. 1890

This deck of 48 cards is attributed to Adolph Engel and originally printed c. 1890. The images include inserts with interesting sigils where typically you see playing cards. Around that time period occultism was popular and the inserts were most likely a sales ploy since there are no known meanings to these sigil inserts.

Most of the cards included in this pack contain the same emblems as in Lenormand decks..

The deck comes with instructions on additional cards. They are read similarly to Lenormand and Gypsy Witch cards, using what is known as the Method of Distance using the entire deck laid out in 7 lines of 8 cards.

The cards are made for people who plan to use their cards often. They are printed on modern day, casino grade card stock (black core, 320 gsm) that can be riffle shuffled, feels wonderful in hand and come in a tuck box. Card size: 2-1/2" x 3-1/2"

The decks will be specially ordered just for you and mailed in 3-4 weeks, although probably sooner.
