Brepols Lenormand c. 1901 -- Restored & Unrestored

This version of the Brepols Lenormand deck is believed to have been first of this design and was published in 1901 and contains one of the most beautiful back designs on any of the antique Lenormand decks. This edition is unique in that it appeared with only playing card inserts and the gorgeous back; verses and titles appeared on later editions.

When Vincent's mother passed away, he found this deck among her things. It captivated his imagination and through these beautiful cards found his calling to be a fortune teller. His mother had made notes on each card to help her remember the meanings. Interestingly the meanings she wrote on the cards were not traditional Lenormand meanings. For example, Lily meant disgrace, Clouds meant desire, Book meant business and Stars meant wedding.

Here this elegant deck has been restored to its former vibrant colors as well her old well-used cards. Both are printed on premium card stock in bridge size.

Only the unrestored version contains 2 Lady and Gentleman cards.

This deck is printed on premium casino-style card stock that feels wonderful in hand and comes in a tuck box. Card size is 2-1/2 x 3-1/2"
