Three Etteilla decks.

1) Etteilla's Le Tarot Fantaisie Égyptien; cleaned up but otherwise unchanged. While this deck was published some time around 1850 although I suspect it was created much earlier since Jean-Baptiste Alliette, Etteilla, died in 1791. I would guess that it is a forerunner of the more lavishly and colorfully illustrated later editions.

2. Le Grand Etteilla, published sometime between 1880 and 1890. Lightened and colors brightened this deck still contains the patina of age common to antique decks that have seen use.

3. Sumada's Lismon Etteilla, c. 1890. With the original backs and facsimile box these cards somewhat restored with all the character of his original deck, the reproduction of this distinctive deck is from Sumada's private collection. This striking 78-card deck was hand-colored, not always inside the lines, and there is foxing around the outside edges of the cards. There is been some cleanup on the cards but they still contain many of the blemishes and spots on them from their former life, and possess the original back design.

Each deck is specially ordered just for you and mailed directly from the printer. You should receive it in 3-5 weeks although probably sooner.

The cards are made for people who plan to use their cards often. The cards are printed on modern day, casino grade card stock (black core, 320 gsm) that can be riffle shuffled and feels wonderful in hand, and come in a tuck box. Standard tarot card size, 2-3/4" x 4-3/4".
