Schneider & Co Lenormand c.1918

Not quite 100 years old, the Lenormand Museum dates this beautifully illustrated deck at about 1918 with the Lady and Gentleman wearing clothes that signal the beginning of the 20th century.

This facsimile reproduction has the original back illustration.

I found that Schneider & Co., the name on the cards' original box, was a "department" at the Stralsunder card factory at Altenburg, Germany.

One version had verses, http://a.trionfi.eu/WWPCM/decks/d00289/d00289.htm, this one has playing card inserts. The illustrations are sumptuous and a pleasure to read.

The cards are made for people who plan to use their cards often. They are printed on modern day, casino grade card stock (black core, 320 gsm) that can be riffle shuffled and feels wonderful in hand and come in a tuck box. Card size is 2-1/2 x 3-1/2"

The decks will be specially ordered just for you and mailed in 3-4 weeks, although probably sooner.
